cutting and the rain splatters,
budding branches sway.

Bright flowers, scrumptious
dinners, chocolate dreams mean
nothing without you.

Through the dark or light,
a smile builds and reflects
a brightness within.

Hummingbird peers in.
There. The synchronicity
of the Universe.

Raven waits outside
and through my glass prison we
witness each other.
